The Apparel Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a custom apparel brokerage based in Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us. When you use our quote calculator, contact form, or Custom Stores interest form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, details about your project, and any artwork files you choose to upload. We use this to respond to you and prepare your quote or order.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider collect standard usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics below).
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes.
- To produce, fulfill, and deliver orders you place with us.
- To communicate with you about your project or order.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and fulfill your order, including with the service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email delivery provider, analytics provider, and the production partners who decorate and ship your order. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our customers or our business.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies that help us measure traffic and improve the experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to request a quote.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you, fulfill your order, and meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or opt out of non-essential messages, by emailing info@theapparellab.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor those rights as required.
Children’s privacy
Our site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
